The Sleep Deep Method Practical Course with Beatrix Schmidt

When was the last time you slept well at night and woke up refreshed and ready to conquer the day?

Insomnia and other sleep problems affect around one in every three people in the UK, that is around 22 million people in the UK alone. A staggering amount, especially since there are so many effective ways to improve sleep and wake up refreshed in the morning.

Join sleep coach Beatrix Schmidt’s 4 week ‘Sleep Deep Method’ practical course:

Week one: 5th June 2018 – The Root of Your Sleep Problems
We will start with looking at what actually causes your sleep disturbance or insomnia. This varies from person to person and with the help of Beatrix, we will look at the different areas of your life and pinpoint the actual and real reason you might not be able to switch off, sleep through the night or wake up refreshed in the morning. There is no one-size-fits-all solution, this is the reason we need to dig a big deeper than just why you might be tired. We then start putting and actual plan in place for you to start working on overcoming your insomnia or sleep problems.
Week two: 12th June 2018 – The art of truly switching off in the evening
One of the most common issues Beatrix comes across in her private practice is the client’s ability to truly switch off and rest peacefully at night. This not only causes people like you to unable to get to sleep at night but also to wake up in the middle of the night and unable to get back to sleep, waking up tired and often exhausted before your day even begins. Effective techniques to switching off can vary depending on personality types and personal circumstances, therefore what works for one person may not work for others. During the evening, we will go through various techniques that you can use straight away to start designing a bedtime routine that works for you.
Week three: 19th June 2018 – Design a bedtime routine that actually works
Continuing our work from switching off, we turn our attention to the very important bedtime routine. Often people think that this routine is lengthy and unnecessary but that is not the case. A bedtime routine can be a very simple process to let your body and mind know that it is time to prepare for bed and rest peacefully at night. In our very busy world, it can be hard to give ourselves enough time to wind down from the day which makes it harder to rest well at night. From the time you have to go to bed and the time you have to get up, as well as looking at your bedroom environment, we will work together to create a personalized plan that will actually work for you and your current lifestyle.
Week four: 26th June 2018 –  Learn to wake up in the morning both mentally and physically
The third element of healthy and recharging sleep is to look at supporting your body correctly during the day as well. This evening we will add additional tools and techniques to your toolbox to be able to better prioritize yourself and your sleep, deal with emotional and physical challenges that keep you tired if not completely exhausted day in and day out.  Having enough energy during the day for you to truly live a fulfilling life is a very crucial part of The Sleep Deep Method. Without our ability to really enjoy our days, our nights can feel like a waste of time, taking away precious hours from us. But of course this is not true. When you sleep well, you live well: you are energized mentally and physically, you are able to handle challenges better and make decisions faster, you are inspired and driven, actually giving time back to you during the day to achieve those precious goals that you have in life. We complete the course with a Sleep Deep Plan for Life that you can take away with you and apply for years to come.
